sisters

dark and light
day and night
as different as we can be

heart to heart
so far apart
fall’n from the same family tree

memories to share
so very aware
of the heart ties that bind us together

through laughter and tears
for 55 years
you’ve been my emotional tether

miles and years
laughter and tears
yet always so close to my heart

Are one of these girls you?

Lovely sentiment in that poem. I know my wife is really close to her closest sister. I often wonder what it would have been like to have had a brother.

beautiful poem. my bother is so different than me in certain ways it's hard to believe that we're related. but, in other ways we're exactly the same.

are you the one on the right?

I think you must be the one on the left. This is so, so sweet. There is a such a special bond between sisters, isn't there?

I loved that!! I don't know what I would do without my sister...we have been there for each other and have gone through so much! I really have been blessed with such a wonderful sister!

i'm going to let everyone keep guessing for a bit longer. so far, one of you is right and one of you is wrong. hee hee.

auburn kat, your garden cat is on its way to your house! today i am working on 2 cat collage commissions that i got as a result of posting the one you bought. one is similar to yours and one is of a tuxedo cat. they coordinate together. i'll post them soon! take care and let me know what you think when you receive your collage!!

I'm going to guess that you are the older one on the left. This is such a sweet photo and poem. I love it!

i'm the younger blonde on the right. hard to believe that little tow head me turned into a brunette but it's true. thanks for playing along and guessing!

yay! i guessed correctly - love those 50/50 odds. going to play lotto right now! i was blonde as a child and now i'm a brunette. funny how things change like that.
