Beautiful photos...I love how the powder piles up and the ice shines. Good day for homemade soup or anything really with a hardy aroma!

Hasn't it been beautiful! The cold temps really let it stick around...and we're getting more!

You have robins, too, I see! They don't eat seed...they must be starving! Why don't they go south? ha.

I think the bottom tree in the snow is especially beautiful..and the puppies, they don't seem to mind being out...do they think they are Siberian huskies?

Wow! you really got dumped on! Snow is gorgeous when it's falling, and I actually don't mind shoveling, keeps me warm.... BUT, the reason I really came to your blog today is to recommend a book to you... have you read 'poemcrazy' by Susan Goldsmith Wooldridge? If not I really recommend you pick it up... It's about poetry, sort of, but I think it's mainly about inspiration... I pick it up regularly, and today when I was reading it, you popped into my mind... so there you go...recommendation made, enjoy.

You guys have had the prettiest snow this year. I love the way it hangs on the trees.

betsy, i've been amazed at the robins! they were eating the frozen crabapples off that tree. i don't recall ever seeing so many with so much snow on the ground.

stevie, what made this last snow wonderful was how heavy it was on the trees. then it froze into solid clumps over night. when the sun came out the next day and started melting the trees were beautiful!!

I love snow, especially since we haven't had much of it in the city this year. Lots of snow further away but not around where we live. And I love snow because that's my name ! Happy Thursday from Tokyo!

Thanks for your comment at my knit blog :-)

Living in the snowy areas it is easy to forget how beautiful snow can be. I relish your snowy photos, and I especially enjoy the tree with all the robins.
