as promised, here are the hollyhocks!
this piece is unique in that i added a little dowel rod
to the back of the wood to make it self-standing.

The background of this piece is such a sweet blue-grey. It is a beautiful artwork altogether. I really must go and check out your Etsy offerings. That is a great line: "My heart sings in colour"

thanks to all for your kind words and support! i enjoyed doing these hollyhocks sooo much that i'm thinking about doing a large piece of hollyhocks. i used to say "so many books, so little time" and now it's "so many creative ideas ad so little time". smile!
