time is a funny thing. some days you have too much; other days not nearly enough.
carefree happy days speed by; boring days not so much. i crave time -- time outdoors
soaking up the sunshine, long lazy afternoons reading good books, happy hours giggling
with my grandbabies. i want more quality time with my hubby and my children and time to
make sure my mom knows how much i care.
so, i'm taking a break from blogging and my etsy shop and television. i'm saying goodbye
to the pressure i place on myself to do it all. taking a break -- to me it sounds just lovely.
i don't know when i'll be back but i will. and when i am back, i'll be refreshed and have a new
lease on life.
and, yes, that's me acting like a dork in the above photo. rest assured i won't be taking a
break from being a dork. hee hee
take care, friends!

Enjoy your life Julie! That's what it's all about...and there is never enough time for it all.
I am glad you are not taking a break from being a dork Julie :) (love your sense of humour and the photo). Enjoy your break and take all the time you need.

we'll miss you Julie, but life comes first!
It looks like a bridge from Madison County? The movie was great... Wonderful photo! Enjoy!

And whenever you come back, I just wanted to let you know that I finally posted my recent post with your quilt on it. Thank you for letting me show your grandma's gorgeous quilt and letting me add part of your "quoted" text.
Blessings & Aloha!
When you do get the chance to see that post, please let me know by leaving a short comment.

Good for you! Carpe diem!
Hi Julie!
After you visited my website, I had to check yours out. What an amazing artist you are, and I love your photos. Did you graduate from Hagerstown in 1973? If so, you were in my husband Kim Gray's class! We've been married 30 years and still going strong. Thanks for taking the time to sign my guest book. I plan to visit your website again...when you've had time to relax and renew! Take care of yourself and enjoy the summer.
Enjoy the break. I am taking longer breaks this summer as well...making time to garden and enjoy family and friends and summer weather (and definitely some dorkiness as well!)
I also just took a break from blogging. Moving is stressful and now I am spending days lying in the hammock and reading non stop. I like your happy photo!
Take your time but don't stay way too long1
love

I just wanted to Thank You for your beautiful comment of shared heart on my blog earlier. Sorry your father is not with you, and i know how difficult it is to balance that sense of letting go and holding onto memory. You did a beautiful thing.
Peace and silence to your heart and mind.
