lonely leaf

autumn is definitely here now with winter on the cusp. most of the beautiful leaves have fallen and bare branches are making solitary silhouettes against the sky. it was dark by 6:00 last night and it is cold this early morning.

we're off to indiana bright and early to pick up jenna and ben for the day. i've so been looking forward to getting my grandma julie fix.

happy weekend everyone!!!

A splendid weekend to you as well, Julie. It looks like that forlorn little leaf just doesn't want to let go; it is holding on for dear life. Sometimes it is that way, isn't it?

Hi - hope you had a great day doing grandma things with your LOs. Vry frosty morning here and lots of trees like that one.Starting to draw in more and sit by the fire.
I love your little people. xx

Have a great Autumn day with your grandbabies. 38C (100.4F) predicted in my neck of the woods for today. The heat and I don't get along ..... I think I've told you that already :-)

Happy grandchildren visiting!

You're lucky that your locale there in the Eastern time zone is daylight until 6. Here in my Central time zone we are dark by 5. I drive home from work in the dark now.
